The European Journal of Social Security is a refereed journal. EJSS is a multi-disciplinary journal, which publishes articles on social security law and social security policy. It adopts a broad definition of social security in addition to articles dealing with different types of income maintenance, it publishes articles on demography, inequality, poverty, disability, health and social care, employment, migration, taxation and public expenditure. EJSS is particularly keen to publish articles on developments in social security at the EU level and in different European countries on a comparative basis. It is also very keen to publish articles on the impact of European law on national social security systems.
